Very excited to share that my photo "Tee Time" has just received the Honorable Mention award in the Urban Wildlife category in the 2019 Canadian Geographic: Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest.
I'm stoked that this photo was chosen as it was one of my favorite photos I took all last year, catching that golf ball in mid flight!
I'm always thrilled of any recognition from Canadian Geographic but I am even more honored to be among so many awesome Canadian nature photographers, all of whom also produced some amazing photos this year.
So a big thanks to the editors and jury at Canadian Geographic!!!

Je fais souvent attention à l’ambiance générale d’un lieu avant de m’y rendre, car c’est ce qui influence le plus mon expérience au final, et c’est ce que j’ai essayé de comprendre en explorant https://lilybilly.ma. Ce que j’ai trouvé intéressant, c’est la manière dont l’univers est présenté, sans surcharge ni promesse excessive. Une fois sur place, j’ai retrouvé cette même sensation, avec un cadre qui reste agréable sans être trop chargé. J’ai aussi remarqué que l’endroit attire des profils assez variés, ce qui crée une atmosphère plus naturelle et moins figée que dans certains lieux trop ciblés. Avec le recul, je dirais que c’est surtout cet équilibre qui fait la différence, car il permet de profiter du moment sans se…
