So I recently entered the Smithsonian photo competition, just yesterday actually, and got a quick response from the Judges at the Smithsonian Institute letting me know that one of my submissions, "Mid-Flight Mallard" was selected for Photo of the Day - June 1, 2017.
In addition to this honor, I was also informed that 3 of my submissions ("Mid-Flight Mallard", "Rabbit Lunch" & "Passing Through") were selected as Features on the Smithsonian homepage. This is all humbling considering there have been over 300k photo entries from 236 countries - ummm, amazing!
